Building a simple query
This feature has been developed to ease the work of a SharePoint 2007 developer. It consists of an application page where you can build a caml query. The caml query itself is stored in a list from where you can further work with it.
CAML (Collaborative Application Markup Language) is an XML-based query language that helps you querying, building and customizing Web sites based on Windows SharePoint Services. The XML elements define various aspects of a WSS site. This tool will help you build your CAML Queries.

CyberNotes: Creating Advanced Desktop Shortcuts in Windows
Desktop shortcuts can be extremely useful for doing common tasks like launching applications, opening commonly used folders, and pulling up your favorite websites, but few people take the time to use shortcuts for anything else. With the help of some very small programs we’re going to show you how to create supercharged shortcuts that can do more than you probably thought was possible.
What will you be able to do? Things like adjust the volume on your computer, turn your monitor off, lock your computer, disable WiFi, and much more. The shortcuts that we’ll create can be especially useful when used in conjunction with a keyboard launcher, such as Launchy.
I have two different free applications that are going to assist us in creating the advanced shortcuts, and each one weighs in under 100KB. You don’t have to install them, but one thing you will have to do is manually create the shortcuts. So the first thing we’re going to show you is how you can manually create a shortcut, and we’ll follow that up with the two applications you can use to enhance the shortcuts.

An issue that came up on a recent project was how can we search custom meta-data on document libraries in MOSS 2007? So for instance, let’s say that in a set of document libraries in a site or across a number of sites each will have a custom column named “Department” that is of a data type “Choice” and the possible values are each department in an organization. Now let’s say that end-users would like to use advanced search to use the Department field as search criteria.I knew this was possible with SPS 2003, however, I sadly never had a chance or a reason to try it out – but now I did with SharePoint 2007, yippee! So in order to figure this out, I did a cursory search online and hit TechNet’s MOSS section, but alas, I could not find anything showing exactly what I was looking for. So through some brainstorming with a colleague and also some trial and error I was able to get it.

I’ve always felt sketchy about other 3D freeware, so starting today trueSpace 7.6 is now available for download…..FOR FREE! And, there is a direct connection into Live Search Maps so you can create SUPER high resolution 3D models using trueSpace, then right from the environment upload the model into Live Search Maps as a collection item. Once you’ve created your collection, you can import your collection into your Virtual Earth application and BAM you have your own custom 3D models in your Virtual Earth application. We’ll host the models right in our 3D collections cloud! This is going to be a long post – get some coffee and make it diesel.

BikeRouteToaster.com is a course creation application primarily aimed at Garmin Edge/Forerunner owners although other users without a GPS may also find it useful for planning rides. Courses are created using Google maps and then downloaded from the server.

1. mit dem Advanced Konfig Tool den Internet Explorer—> User Agent custom base Anpassen auf: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Winows CE; IEMobile 6.12) /Swisscom/v1605). Dieser Eintrag muss genau stimmen.
2. mit dem PHM Registry Editor folgenden Eintrag suchen:
HKLM–Software–HTC–StreamingDShow
Hier nun einen new String mit Namen: UserAgent und Value: Swisscom/1.0/v1605 dazufügen.3. Mit Opera gehts nicht. Also den MobileIE nehmen und als Startseite folgende URL eingeben: wsp://portal.swisscom-mobile.ch/tv eingeben.
Nun kommt Ihr auf das Portal und könnt TV schauen. Cool. Ob ungebrandet oder gebrandet…Die Abokosten bleiben ja die gleichen. ALso haben alle das recht M obile TV zu schauen.

If you’ve ever designed and deployed a form that will be frequently used or require significant data analysis, you have probably looked into maintaining data in a SQL database. With InfoPath 2003 and the InfoPath 2007 rich client, you get what you expect. You create a main database data connection to the SQL server and pick tables and columns that meet the requirements for submit functionality. When you open your form and click the „Run Query“ button, you see the data pulled from the database as you’d expect. You then happily insert, update, or delete records and, when the time is right, hit „Submit“. Luckily for you, the InfoPath client took care of maintaining the list of changes that you made while editing your form. With this list of changes intact, your updated data streaks back to the database to await the next query.
